Congratulations on your engagement and how exciting that you’re looking for a Perth wedding venue so you can start planning your special day. At Norman Yap Photography we’ve had the pleasure of photographing at many Perth wedding venues and we’ve made a list of some of our favourites.

Choosing a wedding venue is an important task as you’re choosing the backdrop for one of the biggest days of your life. Before you begin looking for a venue, we suggest creating a draft guest list so you can research venues that can cater for you. Next, think about what’s important to you on the day and what your vision is for your wedding. Are you wanting something luxurious and grand, or something more relaxed and intimate? Having a clear vision for your wedding day will help you narrow down the choices when looking for a Perth wedding venue.

Here are 10 Perth wedding venues we think you should check out.

Caversham House is a 1800’s estate that has been transformed into the first wedding reception centre in the Swan Valley. The beautifully restored house has a blend of French and contemporary style with a stunning bar, large crystal pendant chandellliers hanging from the ceilings and beautiful provincial doors that truly give this venue the ‘wow’ factor. The European inspired gardens surrounding Caversham House are breathtaking and perfect for your wedding portraits.

Caversham House have a range of beautiful ceremony and reception spaces for you to choose from and so you can have your wedding any time of year. For your ceremony, choose from The Garden House, The Colonnade Gardens or The Hidden Gardens. The Garden House is a beautiful restored garden house that is a great indoor option for your ceremony. The Colonnade Gardens have a perfectly manicured garden walk way that lead to a stunning ceremony space encapsulated by stone. The Hidden Garden has a beautiful formal garden that leads to a stunning terrace for your ceremony. The four story waterfall, sandstone balustrade and hand carved statues will certainly make for a beautiful atmosphere and photos of your ceremony. For your reception, choose from the timeless and elegant Main House, the silk and chandelier lined Marquee or The Garden House for more intimate affairs.

Caversham House is perfect if you’re looking for a romantic and classic atmosphere for your wedding day. Take a look at Joanne and Dafi's wedding we photographed here.
