This unique venue, floating on the picturesque Swan River, was the perfect venue for Laura and Adam to come together with their family and friends. Our studio was lucky enough to capture the magical moments, stunning details, and heartfelt memories of their dreamy The Raft Perth wedding.
Laura and Adam’s wedding ceremony was held in the charming Tropical Grove at the University of Western Australia. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by palms and exotic flora, this idyllic location was the perfect spot for their ceremony. Laura was a vision in her Karen Willis Holmes dress and you could feel the awe from everyone as her Dad walked her down the aisle to Adam. Officiated by Love Ashleigh Celebrant, their heartfelt vows were exchanged in front of their loved ones, where tears were flowing from both emotion and laughter.
The ceremony space was styled with beautiful pops of blueberry, peach, and butter yellow blooms, put together by the talented Studio H Flowers. The floral arrangements, beautifully crafted and displayed, complemented the natural surroundings, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. Every detail, including the carefully chosen chairs provided by M Event Hire, added to this special day. That’s the thing with weddings, it’s all these small and unique choices that a couple makes to turn it into something extraordinary.
Following the ceremony, Laura and Adam had their wedding portraits around the picturesque grounds of the University of Western Australia’s. The combination of luscious greenery and classic architecture provided a timeless backdrop for wedding photos. These portraits are the kind that never go out of style. Laura and Adam enjoyed having a few moments together to just breathe and take it all in.
The reception at The Raft Perth was a celebration like no other. This one-of-a-kind venue, with its breathtaking views of Elizabeth Quay, Kings Park, and Perth City, certainly impressed Laura and Adams guests. The unique experience began with a boat ride, ferrying guests to this secluded oasis. Head Chef Nigel Samuel, well known for his carefully curated menus with fresh local produce, took care of everyone and added to the incredible evening.
Inside their The Raft Perth wedding, Laura and Adam’s wedding reception came to life. The space was beautifully styled with stunning floral arrangements and signage, all these charming details reflecting their unique personalities. The joyful atmosphere resonated with tears of happiness and a lot of laughter. As the night unfolded, the dance floor came to life as everyone turned up the energy to celebrate Laura and Adam.
The evening ended with a bang, the Perth city skyline erupted in a magnificent fireworks display, casting a magical glow over Laura, Adam, and their delighted guests. What a photo to have! It was a breathtaking finale to a day filled with love, joy, and cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
